At Pegasus AC, our player development model starts with high level coaching, focusing on skill acquisition in a fun and supportive environment. This permits our development teams to compete in the Southeast Ontario Soccer Association (SOSA) league, which is a competitive league that runs from mid-May until the end of August. Pegasus AC takes a balanced approach between developing players and competing to perform in the SOSA league https://sosaleague.e2esoccer.com/

Here is the commitment for players for the 2023 spring/summer season for U10-U12 teams:

Team training will begin after the identifications are completed. From the end of this until the start of the league season (mid-May), our U10-U12 teams will train twice per week. Once league games begin, team will continue to train twice per week and play one game per week. League games are played in the Southeast Ontario Soccer Association, meaning games versus local clubs (Jr. Gaels, KU) as well as teams in Belleville, Quinte West and Brockville. Your child and family will need to commit to 3 days a week from mid-May until the end of August.

Teams will also have the opportunity to participate in development festivals (tournaments) during the season. Funding for two festivals is included when a child registers for a team. Festivals take place on one day on the weekend. The coaches and team manager will have more details on festival participation as it varies per team.

2023 Game nights:

Under 10 (born in 2013/14): Tuesday nights

Under 11 (born in 2012): Wednesday nights

Under 12 (born in 2013): Thursday nights

Here is the commitment for players for the 2023 spring/summer season for 9 and under teams:

Team training will begin after the evaluations are completed (there is no try-outs at this age). All 2016-2014 born players are welcome regardless of playing experience. We use the evaluation period to see what the players are currently capable of.

At the U9 stage of development, our teams train twice per week. There is no formal league to play in, however, our coaches are encouraged to arrange games with other local U9 teams (Jr. Gaels, KU). Likewise, U9 teams will also have the opportunity to participate in development festivals (tournaments) during the season. Funding for two festivals is included when a child registers for a team. Festivals take place on one day on the weekend. The coaches and team manager will have more details on festival participation as it varies per team. To register for the evaluations go to:
