GIRLS SOCCER:

At Pegasus AC, we are proud to announce that our U13 girls team is at capacity.

We are now registering girls for our 2026 spring/summer season for players born in 2014, 2015 and 2016. There will be two phases to this program.

PHASE ONE: Ten Mondays in a row, starting on January 5th 2026 until March 9 from 7-8pm. During Phase ONE, we expect (and encourage) your daughters to possibly be busy with other sports. Some might not be able to start until later in this phase, while others will be available for all of it. We encourage you to register your daughter as soon as possible as roster sizes (and space) are limited. This training will take place in the RMC Dome. During Phase ONE some of the training will be done as one group while other parts of it will be done based on current abilities.

PHASE TWO: After the March break, Phase TWO begins and players will be expected to be at training twice per week. During Phase TWO most of the training will be done by team. It will take place in the RMC Dome until mid-May and switch to training on the grass fields at CFB Kingston until the end of August. Training days and time for each team will be communicated in February.

Important details about the remaining space on the U10, U11, and U12 girls teams and registration:

  1. We are aiming to have 3 teams for the 2026 season (one in each age group). The U10 and U11 teams will have 12 players (games are 7 versus 7), while the U12 will have 14 (U12 play 9 versus 9). Register now to secure your daughters spot. If there are too few players for three teams, we will work to field two teams and adjust rosters as required.
  2. Pegasus AC will provide a female lead coach for each team. The team will need at minimum 2 parent volunteers. One as an Assistant-Coach (more than one Assistant-Coach volunteer is welcome) and the other volunteer as the Team Manager. Details about roles and responsibilities can be communicated to those interested. These volunteers will need to be in place by no later than 15 April, 2026.
  3. The registration fee is $600.00 with $100.00 due upon registration. The balance will be due on 1 April, 2026 This registration fee covers the cost from mid-January to the end of August. No other fee will be asked for and the items included in the registration can be found in the FAQ attached.
  4. During PHASE ONE, training will take place on Monday evenings from 7-8pm at the RMC Dome. Sessions will start on Monday January 5 and carry on once per week until the beginning of April (no training on March Break Monday but training on Family Day in February). During PHASE TWO, each team will train twice per week (days/time to be confirmed in February). PHASE TWO sessions will continue in the RMC Dome until the second week of May. In mid-May, training will move outdoors to the grass fields at CFB Kingston.
  5. Pegasus AC knows that the date your child will be available to start training on Mondays with this team will vary. Some will be able to start in January while others might only be able to start in April. Pegasus AC understands and wants your daughters to continue their other sports. However, it is best to register your child right away so that everyone involved can feel secure in knowing their daughter has a soccer team to play with for the spring/summer.

At Pegasus AC, our player development model starts with high level coaching, focusing on skill acquisition in a fun and supportive environment. This permits our development teams to compete in the Southeast Ontario Soccer Association (SOSA) league, which is a competitive league that runs from mid-May until the end of August. Pegasus AC takes a balanced approach between developing players and competing to perform in the SOSA league https://sosaleague.e2esoccer.com/
